New Delhi: Wockhardt Hospitals, Mira Road has been awarded the Quality and Accreditation Institute’s (QAI) prestigious accreditation for its Emergency Department.
This recognition by the Centre for Accreditation of Health and Social Care (CAHSC) marks the first time an emergency department in Maharashtra has met these rigorous standards.
The QAI accreditation underscores the hospital’s commitment to exceptional emergency care, which is crucial for handling life-threatening situations such as road traffic accidents, heart attacks, strokes, choking incidents, and severe allergic reactions. The accreditation reflects Wockhardt Hospitals’ ability to provide state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technology, and expert medical care around the clock.
Dr. Tushau Prasad, Consultant and In Charge of Emergency Medical Services at Wockhardt Hospitals, elaborated, “Emergencies such as chest pain, seizures, and severe accidents need timely attention.
