New Delhi: In a landmark moment for Indian innovation in the fields of preventive healthcare and longevity science, GOQii Team Sanjeevini has been selected among the Top 100 Semifinalist Teams and is the only team from India in the globally renowned XPRIZE Healthspan competition.
This $101 million initiative is focused on significantly extending the number of years individuals live in optimal health. In addition to securing semifinalist status, Project Sanjeevini was recognized as one of the Top 40 Milestone 1 Awardees, receiving a $250,000 grant to support clinical validation and expansion.
XPRIZE Healthspan convenes the world’s foremost longevity experts, technologists, and scientists with the shared objective of restoring muscle, cognition, and immune function by a minimum of 10 years, with an ambitious goal of 20 years, in persons aged 50-80 years, in one year or less. This demographic, often underserved by innovation, lies at the heart of the next frontier in healthcare.
A New Operating System for Human Health
At the core of GOQii’s breakthrough is Project Sanjeevini, a sophisticated cyber-physical platform designed to function as a next-generation operating system for biological rejuvenation. The system merges predictive genomics, cfDNA-based diagnostics, AI-powered personalization, gamified behavior change, and real-time coaching to delay or reverse the functional decline associated with aging.
Unlike conventional therapies, Sanjeevini does not rely on a single intervention or generalized treatment. Instead, it delivers a highly dynamic, adaptive model of care that continuously reads biological markers, interprets behavioral trends, and deploys timely, personalized interventions.
“We built Sanjeevini with a singular belief — that aging is not an inevitable decline, but a modifiable process,” said Vishal Gondal, Founder & CEO of GOQii and Team Lead for Sanjeevini. “We see health as a living system — and Sanjeevini as the architecture powering it. It’s not a product, it’s a platform.
A real-time upgrade to how we live, heal, and perform. To be recognized by XPRIZE affirms what we’ve always believed: the future of healthcare lies not in treating disease, but in unlocking human potential.”
The platform is structured around GOQii’s proprietary A.L.I.V.E. OS, comprising:
● Active Engagement — Habit-building missions, challenges, and behavioral nudges
● Longevity Optimization — Continuous biomarker tracking to assess immunity, cognition, strength, and metabolic function
● Incentivized Action — Rewards through Karma Points and GOQii Cash
● Virtual Guidance — Dual support from AI avatars and expert human coaches ● Embodied
Intelligence — Digital Health Avatars visualizing real-time biological age, progress, and resilienceEntering the Clinical Arena: Trials to Begin in 2025 GOQii Team Sanjeevini will now enter a rigorous trial involving participants aged 50+ at clinical sites across India. The study will measure Sanjeevini’s impact on immune function, cognitive performance, muscle strength, and biological age as measured by cfDNA, telomere length, and microbiome diversity.
All trials will follow stringent regulatory standards, supported by leading hospitals and monitored by an independent Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB). Participant data will be secured using HIPAA and GCP-compliant digital infrastructure.
“We’re moving from anecdotal wellness to evidence-backed longevity,” added Vishal Gondal, Founder & CEO of GOQii. “This is a pivotal step in demonstrating that technology can not only monitor aging but actively modulate it.”
Backed by Scientific and Strategic Leadership GOQii Team Sanjeevini advisors comprises a multidisciplinary team of leading physicians, biologists, technologists, and healthcare strategists.
“The future of aging is deeply personal, but powered by data. Sanjeevini fuses biological insight with behavioral intelligence, creating a system of continuous, adaptive care,” said Dr. Anurag Agrawal, Dean of Biosciences, Ashoka University.
“We’ve always believed prevention must go beyond advice. Sanjeevini delivers this belief through real-time personalization and measurable transformation,” said Luke Coutinho, Integrative Health Expert and Advisor to GOQii.“This platform redefines scalable, outcomes-based care. It integrates precision diagnostics with behavior change in a way that has the potential to transform how global health systems manage aging populations,” said Amit Mookim, CEO, Immuneel Therapeutics.
“”Wearable sensor technology and advanced algorithms are revolutionizing preventive medicine. At Sanjeevini, we combine these innovations with cell-free DNA analytics to pioneer biological age management—we don’t just measure biological age, we actively influence it. Our AI framework monitors biomarkers and identifies personalized interventions to promote healthy aging. By integrating real-time physiological data with molecular insights, we’ve created a system that tracks individual aging patterns and recommends interventions that extend healthspan and improve quality of life”—,” Dr. Nirmal Punjabi, Clinical Systems Advisor, IIT Mumbai.
“Cell-free DNA offers an unprecedented window into the body’s biological aging process. By integrating cfDNA fragmentation profiles and epigenetic aging signatures, we can detect silent molecular shifts in health at an early stage. Through our collaboration with GOQii Team Sanjeevini, we’re turning these insights into timely, personalized care—supporting individuals to live healthier, longer lives. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to making advanced diagnostics truly impactful and accessible to those who need it most, as part of a global longevity solution,” said Dr Avinash Ramani , Founder, Acrannolife Genomics
“Sanjeevini is proof that health can be earned, sustained, and rewarded. With Universal Health Token, we’re turning longevity into a right — not a privilege.” Agastya Samat, Director, Force of Good Foundation, Universal Health Token.
