New Delhi: For FY24, Global Health Limited- Medanta has reported the year-on year growth of 21% in its income to Rs. 33,498 million.
The EBITDA rose 29% to Rs. 8,737 million, with the EBITDA margin expanding by 154 basis points to 26.1%.
Net profit increased by 47% to Rs. 4,781 million, and the company reported a net cash surplus of Rs. 7,720 million for full fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.
Average occupied bed days increased by 14%, with an occupancy rate of 62%. The in-patient count grew by 15%, and the out-patient count rose by 18%. Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) increased by 4.7% to Rs. 61,890.
Medanta’s developing hospitals showed strong performance, with revenue rising to Rs. 9,948 million, making up 30% of consolidated revenue. The EBITDA share from developing hospitals increased to 37% of the total, amounting to Rs. 3,208 million. International patient revenue grew by 24% to Rs. 1,935 million. The in-house OPD pharmacy business saw a 32% revenue increase to Rs. 1,121 million.
In Q4 FY24, Medanta’s total income was Rs. 8,361 million, up 14% year-on-year. The EBITDA for the quarter was Rs. 2,068 million, up 8%, with a stable margin of 24.7%. Net profit for Q4 rose by 26% to Rs. 1,273 million. Average occupied bed days increased by 9%, with a 59% occupancy rate. ARPOB grew by 4% to Rs. 63,063, while in-patient and out-patient counts increased by 10% and 11%, respectively.

Medanta Gurugram is also the only Indian private hospital to feature in the top 200 hospitals in the world.” He attributed the strong results to the hospital’s commitment to quality care and strategic growth plans.
In FY24, Medanta added 126 beds, including 98 at Lucknow and 28 at Patna, and operationalized four new operating theaters at Patna. Medanta announced a ~400-bed super-specialty hospital in South Delhi in partnership with DLF.
The Medanta Noida hospital project is progressing, with operations expected by the end of FY25. The hospital launched comprehensive oncology care services and expanded its clinical team by over 150 senior clinicians. Medanta Labs established eight new labs and over 120 collection centers since January 2023.
