New Delhi: Merck Life Science Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) Kochi, marking a significant step forward in advancing research and development in the field of food safety.
This collaboration aims to accelerate scientific projects, refine methods of development, and enhance workflow processes.
The partnership is set to facilitate scientific demonstrations and training, focusing on advancements in food safety related to fishing and fish processing. Through this MoU, Merck Life Science and ICAR-CIFT aim to foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and enhances the efficiency of scientific workflows in these critical areas.
The MoU was formalized by Dr Veena P Panicker, Director of BioMonitoring at Merck Life Science, and Dr. George Ninan, Director of ICAR-CIFT.
The signing ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Dr C.O. Mohan, Principal Investigator at ICAR-CIFT; Dr. Zynudheen A.A., Principal Scientist; Dr Pankaj Kishore, Senior Scientist; Dr Niladri Sekhar Chatterjee, Senior Scientist; and Dr Ranjit Kumar Nadella, Scientist, among others.
